About AlCuFe Quasicrystal

AlCuFe alloys, consisting of aluminum, copper and iron, form a quasi-crystalline structure characterized by the presence of long-range order without periodicity, which determines their exceptional optical and physical parameters. These materials are used in the creation of anti-friction and anti-corrosion coatings, dielectric layers, selective absorbers of solar radiation, as well as in promising technological developments. The Al-Cu-Fe company produces AlCuFe quasicrystals in the form of powder with an average particle size of less than 10 μm.
